Gay Pride Goes Kinky

Erotic City was certainly the place to be if you attended Gay Pride in Los Angeles this year. (Well, that and the main stage when Berlin played. I didn't see them, but I could hear them in the distance!) About a gazillion peeps passed through the kinky area to check out the booths and the demo tent. Our Stockroom booth was situated right next to the Southwest Women's Leather Coalition, where Mistress Ceyenne cracked her impressive chainmail singletail, and hunky leathermen leaned the willing over a sawhorse and gave them some sound spankings. I had a great time talking to Mr. West Coast Rubber, Alan Stroik, about plans for the Syren shop and celebrations in the future.

Midori held a very entertaining demo on playing with what'cha got- and I witnessed her flogging an eager baby dyke with her leather uniform shirt. She also made great use of our hobble belt and bondage tape. I got to be her assistant and held the microphone while she had her hands full trussing up all sorts of lovely volunteers. Midori had arrived the day before from the big AIDS Lifecycle Event. Bravo Midori!

On another note, there is a petition going around trying to protect Net Neutrality that could greatly affect any adult oriented site and freedom of speech. I urge y'all to sign it. It's about being able to see whatever you want on the Internet and not having AT&T decide what you should see, or limit who has access to the Internet based on what they are paying. The Net Neutrality issue is going to congress.  Check it out. If affects anyone and everyone who surfs the Internet or who checks email.
